We have so many freedoms and we live day to day without really thinking why we can do all we do. Men and women
serve our country so we can have and do what we do. But do we always thank them or remember them? My brother is
currently in the Navy. A few months ago he received word that he was going to be deployed to Afghanistan for 350+ days.
We just recently found out that his orders have been changed and now we are unsure of what his where abouts will
actually be. But you do not have to be deployed to still be considered a hero, you're still fighting for our freedon
so in honor of him and all service men/women, I've decided to continue with the original plan of starting an event. I
will be riding my bicycle 350 miles (one mile for every day he was supposed to be gone) I will be collecting supplies
along my route to send over to the troops like: toiletries, sunscreen, lip balm, foot powder, magazines and books, stationary,
international phone cards, gum, candy, DVDs, CDs,etc.
Our Mission
The purpose of this ride is to support not just my brother but all troops. It is also to let them know that know matter
how far they may be their friends and family are still with them. They need to know that we do appreciate
everything they do and we thank then for there selfless act. My goal is not only to collect as many boxes
of supplies to send over as care packages but for these heros to know they are NOT FORGOTTEN. I would also
like to get as many bikers to ride either the whole trip or join me at any of my stopping points. My hope is to get volunteers
and sponsors too. If you can't join the trip maybe you could cheer us on when we depart and/or return.

Becoming a Member
Anyone can be a member. You just need to either sign up, e-mail or call. All I'm asking is for you to bring a bag filled
with supplies for the troops. If going the whole trip, bring a tent and sleeping bag (we have a truck you can put them in)
and $10 to help with the cost of the campsites.
